Not really a NEW NAWIC Dallas, but definitely a good time to look back at what we've done so far and what we are bringing to the chapter in 2020 (and beyond!) The NAWIC year runs from October thru September meaning we're one quarter down and three to go with our current chapter leadership and theme of "Being the Voice of Confidence & Courage"
So far this NAWIC year, we've focused on leadership and networking development, helping us get outside of our own bubble. Our speakers have been top notch and they have left us with some useful tips, tricks and good old fashioned inspiration! We have raised money for both the Genesis Women's Shelter and the North Texas Food Bank. We hosted the South Central Region Fall Conference and enjoyed some time together at our annual holiday party - lucky Tracey Williams took home Amelia the Elf's loot!!
January kicks off 2020 with "Communication as a Leadership Tool" by an amazing woman who boasts not only major television networks but also the White House on her resume! Merrie Spaeth is one of the most influential communications counselors in the world (along with being a dedicated mother, dog-lover and needlepoint enthusiast!) and will join us on Tuesday, January 21st, be sure you register soon.
